The Hertfordshire vineyard established by farmers
There is exciting news at Lockley Farm, Welwyn, as 2022 marks the beginning of a new chapter in the farms history. In late spring of 2022 a new vineyard called Lokkelebery Vineyard was planted in a previously arable cereals field.

While there will be a 3-year wait for the first bottle of wine, in the mean time there will be plenty of exciting developments to follow in the vineyard as well as events and open days even before the first bottle is made.

Visit us

While the vineyard is young, we will be open on select weekends of the summer for one-off open day tours. Experience the young vineyard with a tour led by the farmers who established it, followed by a delicious slice of homemade cake by the vineyard.

Join our wonderful group of volunteers as they help us with a variety of tasks throughout the year. Volunteering is a unique way to experience the growth of the vineyard while spending valuable time outside in the fresh air and rolling hills of Hertfordshire.
